About Us
Thanks for your help with our focus group. You saved us. Given the mock jury's strong sympathy for our opponent, we were able to settle by accepting a much-improved offer.  More money and a happy client - that is what counts. I hope to use you again in the future.
Robert Lynott, Partner, Thomas & Libowitz, PA

A Personal Word from Carolyn S. Koch, J.D., Trial Consultant and Principal of Jury Solutions, LLC

Jury Solutions, LLC is comprised of a small number of devoted colleagues, sharing one thing in common: We are motivated by a "job well done."  That's why none of our clients are ever put on the back burner.  When you work with Jury Solutions, your case is our number one priority.  You can expect to receive services that are on target, on time, on budget, and delivered with the highest standards of professionalism.

Jury Solutions, LLC has done work for corporations of all sizes, including some of the world's largest, such as ExxonMobil, Bechtel, Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Otis Elevator, Chubb, Geico, as well as individuals in all different kinds of cases, both civil and criminal.

Most recently, Carolyn leant her expertise to the defense of former AUSA Richard Convertino in a case brought against him by his former employer, the Department of Justice. Attorney Convertino was acquitted on October 31, 2007, after one day of deliberations in a trial spanning 4 weeks. Information on this case can be found in the Washington Post, New York Times, and local Detroit newspapers (Detroit Free Press).

Carolyn S. Koch, J.D., is a trial consultant and the principal of Jury Solutions LLC. She has more than 13 years experience as a trial consultant, assisting both plaintiff and defense lawyers in jury research and jury selections in all areas of the law, across the country.

As a bar-admitted attorney, Ms. Koch can assist lawyers at the most critical stages of jury selection. At her client's request, she has been able to directly participate in voir dire, at the bench, in judge's chambers, and even questioning jurors directly so as to fully increase counsel's chances of ferreting out harmful biases.

Ms. Koch is also an accomplished speaker and has participated in many accredited CLEs as well as addressed lawyers' groups at local, state, and national levels.  She has appeared on national news as a commentator on CNN and Fox. (Click here to see the Fox News clip).

Ms. Koch graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut. She graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law.  She is admitted to the District of Columbia and Connecticut Bars and is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants.

Professional Development Seminars:

Ms. Koch is the creator of “Mastering Voir Dire,” the first “reality-based” seminar on jury selection.  Because there are no magical ways to change jurors’ beliefs, Ms. Koch shares with attorneys practical methods for identifying and eliminating harmful juror biases that can prevent them from winning their case. (Course can be accredited for MCLE states).
